i love yellow paired with black and white. there is something super modern, yet classic at the same time. and this print? a little retro. i think i love it for some throw pillows.

yellow is one of the first colors our eyes notice, so it makes sense that taxi drivers would want their cars the sunny hue. in my opinion the coolest part of a taxi is the light on top. i'd love to have a super old one. what would you do with one if you had it?

weekly truth, week 9

getting organized

this is my new shelving unit in my office. it's definitely not the prettiest thing but considering i'm getting a new office, and going to be able to see sunlight, i'm not complaining. these shelves will soon house my design resources and samples. so i'm on the look out for some baskets, trays, boxes, etc. to hold all those things. i want to keep everything fairly neutral, as not to clash with that beautiful green wall. (sorry for the poor photo by the way.)
