  1. You could look like a Nicole but you're a Courtney to me so you being a Nicole just feels weird. Ha!

Seeing Jesus work IN me is just overwhelming and amazing. I love it!

  2. Courtney - you are so cute! I love what you wrote about the network. Seeking out women for inspiration is one of my favorite things too.

  8. Ha. I think you look like a Courtney, but I totally relate to the "Nicole" thing. My name is Hope, but my entire life, people have been calling me "Paige" by mistake. Consistently. At least it's good to know I have a convincing go-to alter ego if I ever need to change identity. =)

Also, I love your header. The whole blog design, actually. See you around the Influence Network!

  11. I love that the network can be that group of like-minded women in the same life-place for you. What a blessing! Love you Courtney! So glad we connected at the conference and that it carried over :)

  12. You are stunning. But I might need to call you Nicole now. That's so funny. I'm so glad you're a part of the network and I can't wait to get to know you more.
I'm more of a gelato girl. Do you like gelato? I think it's because I'm probably lactose intolerant. It's not diagnosed and I eat cheese like it's going to be extinct soon, but when it comes to the cold stuff, gelato always tastes better. What's your fav flavour?

    1. Oh thank you sweet girl! You can call me whatever name you want if you're calling me stunning! Phew! Gelato would do just fine. Anything frozen and somewhat creamy. I love banana. My in-laws make delicious homemade banana ice cream. What's yours?!

  15. So great meeting you, Courtney! I am an ice-cream freak. When I was pregnant, my husband and I got into the horrible habit of eating a HUGE bowl every night of the week. We both got fat, and when I wasn't preggo anymore, we had to take a break from it for a long time. Hah!

  17. gah. courtney, I know exactly how you're feeling. we're actually only a few years off from many people in our church, but since we're living in a small university town, everyone close to our age is still in school, mostly single. we do have a lot of single friends + have them over often, but we definitely long for the community + relationship that comes from friendships with people our age-ish, as well as in the same stage of life. we're just three years into marriage + have an eight month old, and while it's fun for the university kids to come over and play with her {hello, free babysitters all the time!} it's just not the same. I've DEFINITELY found my meaningful, peer group friendships on the influence network. it just makes me so excited about the internet!

    1. That's kind of how it is for us! It seems like everyone is either single or married many years with several children. It's nice that you're able to get some baby-sitters though! ;) But I agree, I love that every time I log on I'm in touch with an amazing group of women who just seem to "get it". I can't wait to get to know you better through your blog and the network!
