Custom Designed Accessories

Our company is called on often to add touches or accessories to an existing space that has been remodeled. We particularly work with a local hospital to provide them with additional accessores to look like they were included in the original design. We have found that the best way to do that is to match a casework laminate and use it to make additional furniture pieces and accessories. These images show how we used the wood laminate to create fountains, planter boxes, waste receptacles, benches and more.

here are images of the designs we come up with to share with clients

Green Series: Repurposed Furniture

Being green and sustainable means making use of what you have and what you find. Instead of purchasing a new sofa, reupholster your sofa, create a dramatic headboard with curtain panels, update a dresser with a coat of paint for an entry table. Here are some images to inspire...

Mini Project, YMCA

I wanted to share this mini project I did for one of the YMCA's in my town. The Y is going through phases to update the building but since they are always open, they are tackling projects one at a time. We just finished installing them a new reception desk that works much better for them functionally and updates their look.

(Don't judge the walls and flooring, they are next on the update list! Also please do not judge these images. They are just from my iPhone and I couldn't get great lighting or the people to stay out of the shot.)

Constantine Carpet Love

A shout-out to one of my favorite carpet producers, Constantine Carpet. This line is completely new to our company; so new we haven't been able to spec it yet. But our rep sends us images and this week it was residential. How stunning are these?!

Fireplace Fancy

This past long weekend was spent at a friends parent's house. I absolutely adore their home. My favorite thing? Their gorgeous fireplace. (Excuse the image quality; moodlighting and an iPhone camera doesn't produce great images.)

Louis Ghost Chair

The Louis Ghost Chair by Philippe Starck is one of my favorite chairs of all time. It's the modernist in me. Interior Design Magazine featured it in their daily fix not long ago and I had to share. The link is below.

Overlooked: Ceilings

I love a nice clean ceiling. What I love even more is when it hasn't been forgotten. These images below inspire me to think about ceiling design a little more. What's great about all of these is that they can be done during a remodel; just apply to your existing ceiling.
